- Educational Background: Graduate from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, specializing in Deaf Education and Audiology. Also graduated from National University in 2021, with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy.
- Licenses and Memberships: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (in Hawai’i and Oregon). Former board member of HIAMFT. Former board president for Alexander Graham Bell Association for Children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing Hawaii Chapter.
- Community Work: Founder of Hawaii Hears and Deaf Education Awareness Foundation, organizations aimed at advocating for the deaf and hard-of-hearing community in Hawaii.
